Lost in Crete

From blitz-torn London to the virgin shores of Crete, a tale unfolds that will leave no life unchanged.

Leafing through the Evening News in the summer of 1978, Diane’s world is thrown into confusion. How can she be looking at a photograph of a three-and-a-half thousand year old earring just unearthed in Crete, when she knows she has the identical twin at home?

And what is her daughter Catherine, single parent to Ellie, to make of the holiday break that is suddenly announced for all three?

Unearthing secrets long-since buried but now stubbornly emerging to haunt the present, they encounter both love and betrayal in a land once scarred by the ravages of war-time invasion.

Three generations, three thousand miles adrift, in a sea of echoes three thousand years old. All are Lost in Crete.
